Steps In Reporting A Biology Practical

Title: This is where what the practical is all about is stated, it gives the student a clear insight of the kind of things he is going to encounter.

Practical Titles are written in Sentence Cases (Capital letter for the beginning of every word).

Aim: This is where the purpose or the objective for which the practical is being carried out is stated.
Its gives a more clearer picture of what to do in the practical.

Apparatus and Materials: This is where you are going to write the equipment and materials used for the practical.
Each equipment/material is written individually, and then separated with a comma until the last material or equipment is written.

Procedure: This is where you write out the steps used in carrying out the practical.

Observation: Most Biological observation comes in the form of drawing. This is where you are going to present the change you observed after carrying out the practical. The best way to present a biology practical is with a drawing, followed with a brief note under it.

Precaution: This is where you are going to state the safety measure put forward to ensure the success of the practical. Some laboratory chemicals are volatile in nature, while some are corrosive. It is important that these precautionary measures are observed to avoid injuries during a laboratory experiment.

Example: It was ensured that the chemical used was handled careful to avoid corrosion on the skin.
